I am a former International business lawyer. I have studied at Sorbonne Law School and worked for prestigious companies and law practices on the Champs ElysĂ©es in Paris.Â
Additionally, I grew up spending my summers in my grandparent’s chateau in the south of France. That’s where I learnt etiquette and the art of conversation.
However, in spite of growing up in a very educated environment, I did not grow up with money. My parents had different convictions than my grandparents. Therefore, I quickly had to get creative to look like I belonged in the places I wanted access to, without having the means to put on a designer dress.Â
That trained my eye to spot quality. That taught me the difference a good fit makes. I learnt how to source a quality, timeless wardrobe, well before I had the means. And no one ever noticed anything.Â
Looking the part has given me opportunities in life I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. It has given me the freedom to leave law behind me, move countries multiple times, start a completely different career as a marketer, start my own business, work as a consultant, start a YouTube channel… All of this because I presented well and people found me worthy of the opportunity.Â
